HOW WE WORK

SIX EASY STEPS

1) SIGN UP

You fill out our quick application form and write an introduction letter. We also ask for a few pictures. Write about your life-style, your hobbies and interest and about where you live.

We are especially interested to learn about your children and about 'all things Australian' that you get up to!

2) CONSULTATION

During our telephone consultation, a member of our team gets to know you better and answers any questions you may have. We talk about the program and about the way we work.

We may give you some tips and suggestions before we start your search. We want to make it easy for you.

3) INTERVIEWS

We make a shortlist of Au Pairs for you. You can login to your profile and see detailed information for each au pair. Guaranteed you'll love their letters and pictures.

Our Au Pairs are pre-screened and have references, police clearance and medical check. Most families email 2-3 au pairs and video interview a couple of times.

4) MATCH

As soon as you and your Au Pair have decided to match, we prepare your invitation. This is not a work contract but a written confirmation for the program.

You agree an arrival date to suit and your Au Pair get Visa, Flights and Travel insurance organised. Your Au Pair says goodbye to friends and family back home...

5) ARRIVAL

Your Au Pair arrives at the airport and you collect her (or him) and bring her home. Many families have the kids prepare a WELCOME sign for the airport.

The first week is filled with learning new routines and getting to know each other. We help you with a handbook and you help your Au Pair get an Australian mobile and a Working with Children's Check.

6) PART OF THE FAMILY

Your Au Pair will be part of the family in no-time! The kids will love having a big sister (or big brother) to play with and parents like the extra pair of hands to lighten the load.

You may even have a date night!

At weekends, your Au Pair will make friends, go to the beach and explore her/his new surroundings.

ONGOING SUPPORT DURING YOUR PLACEMENT

We check in with both you and your Au Pair to make sure your placement is going to plan.

We provide you with a shared handbook, this is a helpful document for your family and your Au Pair. The handbook has an easy checklist for the first week.

The handbook is made up of general guidance about the program and allows you to tailor to your family requirements. This is an ideal tool for early days training and ongoing reference.

We make sure your Au Pair is introduced to other Au Pairs quickly and gets invited to Au Pair Events to make friends from all over the world.

We have a helpline for emergencies.
